As federal, state and territory governments consider policy support to decarbonise the National Energy Market, CEIG has developed private investor positions, in partnership with the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC), on collaborating with government on public ownership of renewable energy to achieve a 1.5 degree outcome.
CEIG has identified a number of strategic initiatives to support its members. These include advocating for urgent reform to grid access and congestion management as well as the future of transmission planning and investment in the NEM.
