Our policy, advocacy and governance team operates across the country bringing deep expertise and experience in public policy, energy market design, advocacy and corporate governance.

Simon Corbell

Board Chair and CEO
Simon has more than two decades of senior experience in public policy. He is widely recognised as a leader in the areas of renewable energy and climate change mitigation and adaptation.​ His advocacy for a strong climate change policy for Canberra saw the ACT achieve national and international recognition as a best-practice jurisdiction.

Cesilia Kim

Non-Executive Director
Cesilia is a Senior Executive and Lawyer with over 20 years’ experience across renewable energy, water, infrastructure, corporate governance and M&A. Cesilia has a strong track record in corporate strategy, major project development and approvals, policy, regulatory reform, governance and risk management. Currently she is the Chief Legal Officer and leads the corporate services function at Iris Energy Limited.  Prior to this, Cesilia was Snowy Hydro Limited's Group Executive and General Counsel also with a broad commercial and multi-disciplinary remit, including procurement, corporate affairs, regulatory strategy and legal.

Mitch King

Non-Executive Director
Mitch is the founder and Managing Director of Lighthouse (established 2007) - an independent sustainable infrastructure fund manager. He is a recognised leader in the Global infrastructure investment market with over 25 years' experience in infrastructure funds management and investment.

David Krsevan

Non-Executive Director
David is Canadian Solar's General Manager (Energy) in Australia. He has also previously worked at Infigen Energy, NAB and KPMG, focusing on risk advisory, energy trading and energy markets.

Nicholas Kuys

Non-Executive Director
Nicholas (Nick) Kuys is part of the Partners Group Private Infrastructure Asset Management team, based in Sydney. He is member of the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio companies Evolution Rail, Ararat Wind Farm and Unity Digital Infrastructure. He has 15 years of industry experience.  Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at Australian Industrial Energy, DUET Group, Macquarie Group, Westpac Banking Group and Deloitte and Touche.

Ritu Thomas

Non-Executive Director
Ritu is the Legal & Contracts Manager (APAC) at Total Eren, leading the legal function in relation to Total Eren’s large-scale renewable energy transactions in the Asia-Pacific region. Ritu routinely advises on complex legal and commercial issues.  Ritu has also previously worked at Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Baker McKenzie.

Marilyne Crestias

Policy Director
Marilyne has over ten years’ experience in government and consulting, focusing primarily on the economics of energy markets, renewable energy auction design, climate change, and management of natural resources. In her past roles, she has led the design of the largest renewable energy auction in Australia and the delivery of legislation to support the Victorian Renewable Energy Target.

Rachel Portelli

Chief Operating Officer
Rachel has significant commercial and not-for-profit sector senior management and governance experience, including advocating to and engaging effectively with all levels of state, federal government and non-government organisations. Past roles have included inaugural General Manager of the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board and Operations Manager for the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

Robynne Berg

Partnerships Manager
Robynne is a customer strategy and stakeholder engagement specialist with extensive experience consulting to boards and executives in both private and public sectors. She has broad business and commercial experience specialising in industry/professional and research bodies, superannuation, major projects, financial services, and economic development. Robynne is an authority on customer growth strategy with extensive experience working with member-based organisations to drive the strategic agenda for future growth. She has a Masters of Business (marketing) and is a qualified Blue Ocean Strategy® practitioner.

Daniel Zelcer

Policy Manager
Daniel has been working in the renewable energy and sustainability space for over 10 years with a focus on providing energy market research, climate risk analysis and solutions for the transition to net zero emissions. He is the founder and director of Acacia Sustainability and holds a Masters in Energy Systems from the University of Melbourne as well as a Bachelor of Business (Management & Psychology) from Swinburne University.
